| 2011 was my 6th year attending the Northern Voice personal media conference. I took the opportunity this time to play around more with my DSLR camera. I got to talking with photographer John Biehler about shooting using a fisheye lens, and he was kind enough to lend me his for the second day of the conference. Fisheye is such a different perspective, it took me some time to get a feel for what it works well on. | Fun Sailing Simulator Game | |
| I was recently looking at games available on the Mac App Store and my favorite discovery so far is Sailboat Championship. The game lets you control a small sailboat using simple controls. It's fast and fun. It's also hard, which lets you appreciate your improvement, including racing against a "ghost" view of your previous run. It's also available for iPhones, so find it in either app store.  | |
