No running required, but maybe a roadtrip

Here's a wild and crazy NYC improv event. Although it isn't one troupe doing continuous improv for 24-hours, it's still a personal learning experience. (Sorry for the late notice.)

Improveducation from the Del Close Improv Marathon 2005:
1) Great improv is mind-blowng, bad improv makes it hard to sit in your seat.
2) Having at least one woman gives depth to any troupe.
3) People who are well-known/popular are given laughs. Some of it is due to anticipation and reputation, but there's usually something behind the hype.
4) Lots of funny people have unpronounced chins.
5) There is a special niche for mature improv troupes. Their knowledge, approach, and life experience really creates a style of improv that is magical (when they don't pander to their younger audience). I'm not necessarily saying that it comes from more improv training, though.
6) A Kansas City Burger is made with ground beef, lipton soup mix, and KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce then topped with one slice of American cheese food.

Get it, got it, good.

Sounds kool. I hope to make it down one year.
