Lux Memorial Day Charity Fundraiser
In honor of Memorial Day, Sillysoft is having a charity fundraiser. 100 percent of the proceeds of American History Lux this week will be donated to the Carter Center, with the stated goals to "wage peace, fight disease, and build hope."The economics of software distribution make this an easily doable promotion. Duplicating bits is effectively free, so I can 'give out' a huge number of copies without it really costing anything. Although there is the opportunity cost of shaking out a bunch of orders when the proceeds won't end up at Sillysoft. It's a worthy cause though, so I am happy to do it.
