I ended up going to the openGL session, which was largely over my head. However it did point me in the direction of a bunch of really cool sample code that should make it easy to get started should I ever try.

On the whole the sessions I've attended have been very mixed. I was very pleased with yesterday's 'QuickTime APIs Update'. It showcased some easy ways to add movies and other media-type contents to apps in a variety of programming environments. On the other hand I was falling asleep during a 'MacOS X Audio Overview'. Today I went to an pretty good 'Java on MacOS X' session and then an excellent 'Cocoa Update'. Apple has added some decently cool stuffs. I don't know how much of it I will use, but the possibility is there.

It's surprising how silly even nerds can be. The row of computers meant for people to use for email and stuff is fully packed, and there aren't even any chairs there. On the other hand their are a bunch of 'labs' set up on the side that are almost empty. That's where I'm writing this from. With a glorious big-ass cinema display in front of me. Drool...
