Yesterday after the regular WWDC sessions there was what is alternatively called the 'campus bash' and the 'beer bash', wherein all the attendees are loaded onto busses and taken to Apple's campus in Cupertino. There we were provided with free food and beer (and there was a shitty band playing too). Apple has what is clearly the Best Address Ever: 1 Infinite Loop. It's quite a pretty place. A bunch of buildings are alongside the loop, and then in the middle there's a very scenic courtyard where the festivities took place. I tries to go exploring in the building, but the security was on the ball. The best I got was peering into some windows. Them apple folks sure do have nice digs.Today is the last day of WWDC. It's been cool overall. I'm seriously considering registering for a class or something just to maintain a viable student status so that maybe I could get another free ticket next year. I'm not sure if they require full-time student status or what. It's something that I'm planning to look in to. As for my current status, I got this email from my mom today (my mcgill mailing address is set to toronto):
Hi Dustin,
I guess you did graduate!! Today, a big diploma size envelope was
couriered to our house, return address McGill university. Could only
be your graduation diploma. So you have the papers. Party on!
