Target: Tam-Tams
I just got back from interviewing random people at the Tam-Tams. It was a smashing success. I was unable to hook-up with my pre-planned french translator Chris Dye, but the beautiful and talented Mr. Budman sprang to the rescue. Which was good, because a lot of the people there only spoke french.It's a hit and miss game when you're just selecting unknown persons. Some people just have nothing interesting to say, some people will be hesitant to give permission and then be very well spoken. Some people just refused to talk on camera.
There are some 'regulars' that I have targeted to try and get interviews with, and we hit two of them today. One is a 'leader' drummer of the statue group, and the other a happening dancer/drummer gal. They both had good things to say. The crazy guy (who is also been targeted) came over while we we're talking to the girl, we tried to switch over to interview him, but I think we somehow offended him and he ended it. I shall try again another week.
We also tried to talk to the cadets, but they said they weren't allowed. Only media relations police are permitted to do such things. So I am going to try and set up an appointment with one of them. Weeeeeeee...
