How to get 'cvs update' to grab new directories

One thing about cvs that had been annoying me was that when I did an update to get the newest source it would never create new folders, even if they had been added to the repository. Today I found the solution. It's as simple as
cvs update -d
There's also an option in winCVS/macCVS to 'Create missing directories...' which appears when the options window pops up (the shift key forces the window to appear).

try "cvs -d :pserver:username@server:/cvs update -d"

So it is the -d behind "update", more about this under http://www.cvshome.org/docs/manual/cvs-1.11.15/cvs_16.html#SEC153
