Icy tea: why?

First week done. My security badge is pretty cool-- my face blocking out the globe portion of the UN logo behind me, so that just the laurel leaves seem to adorn my head. Very Julius Caesar.

I'm in the registry of the ICTY, which seems to be pretty important. Some 700 people work in this section, which runs everything from the detention centre for those on trial to the PR for the court. Basically, everything except the trials themselves. So I get to see a bit of everything.

The Hague is actually kind of fun. Small, so not much of a social scene, but it allows you to explore without ever getting too lost. Dutch is a punster's paradise. My favourite sign advertises "Afhaal Pizza".
