First, she asked me if I was against Bush and Schwarzennegger. Natch, says I. She then goes on to talk about how it is important to stop them. Uh oh, thinks I. She then asks me if I've heard of Lyndon Larouche and his campaign for president. Newly-installed "Freak alert system" goes off in Chris Dye's head. Woman, oblivious to the alarm, continues. She then starts to describe how Bush, Wolfowitz, et al. are closet Nazis. Freak alert system warns: Leave immediately! I extricate myself ASAP. While I usually get some amusement out of suffering fools, I know it's time to leave when the subject rolls around to Nazis. The next day at Berri-UQAM, who do I see standing there but Brent Tyler, local conspiracy theorist and my claim-to-fame. I thought to myself, Berri-UQAM's really going downhill. You can't walk in or out without meeting a wierd, political conspiracy theorist. Whatever happened to all the drug dealers? And one more thing: how come nobody ever offered me drugs when I was in high school?    → comment by chrisdye (#15) on September 19, 2003
