Nanotechnology has restored the sight of blind rodents.

A lot of the sci-fi I've been reading lately takes place in a future Earth, where incredible medical advances have totally changed the way that society operates. Reading about R&D like in this article makes me excited about where technology will be when my body starts to fall apart.
