Streaker interrupts Kwan on the ice
DORTMUND, Germany (AP) — A 30-year old streaker bypassed the Westfalenhalle security in Dortmund at the World Figure Skating Championships to join defending champion Michelle Kwan on the ice as she was about to perform on Saturday's final.
"I was stroking around and I saw him. I knew he was a streaker," Kwan said.
The man, later identified as Ron Bensimhon, 30, from Montreal, Canada, who apparently slipped skates while he was seated in the arena, then bolted onto the ice. Once in front of the crowd, he stripped off some of his clothes and put on a tutu. Painted on his chest was the name of a Web site.
