Orange revolution continues in Azerbaijan

When the leaders of Ukraine rigged their elections a few months ago there was an enormous outcry. The people rose up in an "Orange Revolution" and the leaders and media of the west put sustained pressure on Ukraine to accept the will of the people. Eventually the people won and their corrupt government was pushed aside.

Now a similar situation has emerged in Azerbaijan. The recent election has been declared seriously fraudulent by international observers, and the people have taken up the cry of the "Orange Revolution". However, this time western leaders and media have stayed largely silent on the issue. It seems like Azerbaijan's oil production is more important to the west then the freedom of its people.

If the world stays silent Azerbaijan's fraudulent election might just fade into the background. Now is the time to call attention to it and show our support for democracy everywhere!

Greetings! I live to the CIS (Belarus), therefore the situation in Azerbaijan is clear to me. As against Ukraine in Azerbaijan authorities could apply military force as it was in Uzbekistan, imho
