All the progressive ideas coming out of the Ignatieff camp seem warm and fuzzy, but where does this guy really stand? What's his position on US Missile Defence? Do you aggree with him that Quebec should be recognized as a distinct nation? Why is he (and all the Libs for that matter) blasting the Tories on the Income Trust taxation. Really, we all know it had to be done. Seems pretty opportunistic to me. What really scares me is his position on war and torture. Yes, he seems to have moderated his tone lately, as he realizes he's now a politician and can't just speak his mind. But all the recent flip-flops make one wonder. That being said, I really hope he wins the Liberal leadership race. If only because it will move the Libs to the right and make it easier for NDP supporters not to vote Liberal.    → comment by Chris on November 3, 2006
