Smooth Jazz in Montreal
I headed down to the Jazz festival last night. The best group I saw was Marsmobil. They're a combination of sweet smooth jazz with some synthed up funk. It was 6 people in all. A strong stylish drummer, rockin guitarist, the bassist, a singer, a DJ, and the lead on electric organ and vocals (sometimes distorted). They played some very nice stuff. Then nearing the end the main dude brought out the most beautiful sitar I have ever seen.I tried to download some of there music, but it's not to be found. And it doesn't look like their album can be bought online.
