Two good freeware apps for Windows machines
Just wanted to plug two freeware apps that I use and have been greatly satisfied with.1) Free Virus checker/eraser/destroyer/blocker/monster

It's German, so you know it's good. It's worked great so far, it's free and updates regularly. It's saved me twice already this year and I'm pretty careful.
2) Registry Cleaner

Windows has a Registry set of files that tracks everything that goes on in your files. Installs, uninstalls, start-up programs, etc. It's all in there plus all the settings for those programs. The cleaner takes out the crap that doesn't need to be there and hopefully makes you PC run a tiny bit faster and can even free up HD (hard drive) blocks that are reserved for no good reason.
Don't forget to de-frag your system afterwards!
