It's been a hard drive night
A while ago I decided that it wasn't worth the cost to get the data off of my failed hard drive. It's still under warrantee, so I'm shipping it back to maxtor. Only problem is that I didn't have the box and packing that it came in, and they demand that you put it in a static-proof bag with 2 inches of foam padding on all sides. Can you say bullshit?So I went searching for some packing stuffs. The telephone I bought a little while back had some (maybe) static-proof bags so I used one of them. I found a box I had left over that diablo II came in that was almost the perfect size for the drive and some padding. As for foam all I had were two big pieces from the blacklight I got for christmas. I hacked them down to a good size with my swiss army knife. And voila! The perfect hard drive shipping box. I'll send it off tomorrow.
Might go see without annette tonight.
