REVIVING TOURISM

[Sing-songy music.  Various U.S. Marines are
busy training with their usual earnestness while singing.  First,
troops quick marching in the desert:]

Marines:  There's a place I know in Nasiriyah...

[Another set of troops doing earnest jumping jacks
in the desert]

Marines: A place to pray for formerly oppressed
Shia!

[Another set riding around on top of an armoured
personnel carrier]

Marines: It's fun all the time...

[Another set doing push-ups]

Marines: Commit any crime...

[All the marines together in group photo formation,
some holding Iraqi and American flags]

Marines:  Everyone loves Marineland!

[Graphic at end of commercial with the slogan
"Everyone loves Iraq"  with the "Iraq" scribbled out and replaced
with a scribbled-on "Marineland."  Graphic opens up at top left corner
to reveal a lone Marine]

Lone Marine: [shouting, rather than sing-songy]

it's beautiful. But I don't like the last line (unless it's a joke I don't get from missing out on marineland commercials).

The last line did it for me. Until then, I was like . . . ya, ya, political comedy, sure, sure - T'is the season. But the last line is a riot!
