MonkmonkOK, so I haven't written anything here in quite a while. Since I have started working I have been cutting down the amount of time that I spend on my computer after work. Otherwise I feel like my eyeballs are dissolving. But I like the act of blogging. It's an excellent outlet to the world. So I think that I have to start writing stuff at work. It's the only way I will continue to post stuff regularly. This marks the first work entry.
One of the most interesting things about owning a company is seeing who your customers are. Whenever somebody buys Lux I get an email with their name, email address, and some other info. Now I don't read all of these emails (they automatically get moved into a folder in my email client), but occasionally I do. Like today, when I checked my personal email at work it hadn't yet been shunted into the folder. A guy named Dan bought Lux, and his email address was dan@xxx.com (anti-spam protection enabled). When someone has an email address like that it usually means that they own the domain. I like looking at these domains, to see what's there. There's a large variety of content and quality. From family videos put on the web to professionally deigned companies. Dan's domain falls in the later category, and it's nice. Monkmonk.com, a design shop. Check out the motion graphics section...
