Homeless people aren't so badThis is my first skit. I thought you might like it.Sort of made for TV. Inspired on my walk home. Sad music. Fade in to shot of scraggly beggar, feebly holding hands out in hopes of change. Eyes light up as legs enter scene, legs quickly scramble by; despair pursues…fade out. Fade in…basically same shot, different legs…fade out… Fade in…you guessed it…but…! [VOICEOVER]: (very solemn) It is a sad truth. Each and every day this happens to thousands of people. If you see this and want to do something to make a change (pan up legs, see man in ratty jeans and color worn shirt) (voice now very ecstatic; cut music, stupid record scratching sound) THEN COME TO THE BAY’S BLOWOUT TROUSER SALE! Quick commercialish cuts of man in elegant khakis and finely cut trousers. Music is obnoxious pop type crap, totally early 90’s. [VOICEOVER]: Khakis, trousers, all the brand names you know and love are all on sale! Cut back to beggar, this time fuller scene, showing beggar again, but taller angle to view all of a different man in ratty jeans and color-worn shirt Beggar halts man [BEGGAR]: Buy some new clothes, you bum! (Hands him change) Cut to logo [VOICEOVER]: You can spare the money…it’s the Bay! For copyright reasons, the Bay ought to be replaced with some similar farcical name…you get the drift though.
