daily report
I have resolved to post a (mostly) daily report here on my progress working on Lux. It will be useful for me to see what I accomplish in a day, and whether I am on schedule or not.So, today I continued working on the Windows installer using IzPack. I can now produce shortcuts in the Start Menu as well as on the desktop. Lux's Start Menu group is gonna be jam packed with fun stuff: the application, URL pointer files to the forum and rankings, some documentation, and (of course) an uninstaller. I haven't gotten an icon to appear for the Lux application shortcut yet though.
I got BrowserLauncher working for both remote and local files for windows 98. This is on my roommate's computer. And it's a good thing I have access to it, things would be a lot more painful if I didn't.
I also made a few sugary improvements on the UI for the macintosh version. Some super fun technical details are in the previous post.
