flickr explore

I added a link to explore flickr on the sidebar. It's a fun page, displaying some of the most interesting photos on flickr, with lots of links to explore more in photoland (it's very aptly named). Fun to reload, with new awesome photos every day.

I've been testing out flickr as a way of putting my photos online, and so far I like it. Compared to my old process it saves a step (since I can use the nifty FlickrExport iPhoto plugin to send pictures directly from there). The flickr interface is also very nice, with lots of AJAXy goodness (i.e. gmail style). When I was at the Northern Voice blogger conference it was a real eye-opener how everyone was using flickr together. Photo sharing as a social interaction. So if you're on there let me know your name. I'm dustinQ.

I've been using Flickr for all of my photos. The iPhoto plugin makes it very convenient, so I usually upload to Flickr and then link to the picture from MacMegasite or my blog.
