Photoshop contest

So at Fark.com they're having a photoshop contest where they pair up a TotalFarker (paid member and assumed decent PS'er) with a Farker (plebe and assumed MS Paint user) to collaborate on a theme. As though I didn't have enough on my plate, I thought this would be fun to join as one of the plebes. I finished 9th once in a PS contest. That's my highest finish out of my three submissions.

Anyways, I can't divulge the theme but we're currently spitballing ideas.

I just started using CS (aka: PS 8.0) and the color replacement tool is amazing! It lets you easily change the color of an object without altering the shading or texture. So simple to use and very convincing.

Two thumbs up!

Our main idea has been picked. Started generating rough drafts and ideas. Gotta be done by Wednesday.

We were supposed to take several pics and merge them under a single theme. My partner went missing after a day and since he is the Total Fark member he should have posted our submission early (TF'ers see PS threads first). Anyways, I submitted my loosely assembled collage extremely late but managed to garner 5 whole votes! woo! (I'm e-montral)

The winner was some guy who didn't even have a partner but did an amazing job. Love it.

Anyways, it was fun but losing a partner for a team contest kinda sucked.
