Need webspace? Try http://xeriom.net/
Yes, the prices are all in pounds, but they're quite reasonable.
This was not a paid advertizement. Advertisement. I don't know.
4 comments Is it a good reliable service? Do you know from experience? I *am* actually looking for webspace, so any info is a help!
Web hosting can be a pretty shady business. It's like the used car lot of the web. You should always do research on a host before signing up with them. Typically it's good to do a bunch of searches for things like "xeriom problems", "xeriom sucks", etc. Also the forums at Web Hosting Talk are good to search through.
On the other hand, Dustin provides quality web hosting to some of his friends. He hasn't bothered telling them about all the possible things that they can do with it (host domains, email accounts, get web stats, etc) because he is lazy. It's all there though.
Erm... no
In fact, I know nothing about this. It's just that I sold him on Lux, so I felt I needed to return the favour. But he's a nice guy, and perhaps I could negociate a deal.
Hola,
The service at xeriom.net is great ;)
I have a fairly small customer base just now so basically I do whatever you want as soon as you ask for it (or at least within a few hours) if it's at all possible.
If you'd like to know anything about the host feel free to ask -- I don't bite and I'm completely open about what I'm doing. More eyes mean more chances to spot any mistakes I might make.
I don't think I'll appear on many google searches or at WebHostingTalk since at the moment I just host for friends and one or two randoms, but you never know what'll turn up through google -- that's how I found this discussion :D
More information about the host can be found at http://blog.xeriom.net/
