what i learned today

Apparently Mac OS X buffers TCP transmissions in blocks of 57344 bytes, while SunOS 5.8 uses blocks of only 1460 bytes (at least willy.cs.mcgill.ca does). This is what I learned while creating a distributed network of concurrent non-caching file servers for my networking assignment. It's almost done too...
