Who is Steve Pavlina
Steve Pavlina is one of the people in the shareware world whom I have found to model my business after. He started Dexterity Software, a very successful maker and publisher of (mostly puzzle-style) shareware games. He has also written some excellent articles giving advise to other independent game developers. Anyone who is thinking about starting a shareware (or possible other internet related) business then you MUST read those articles. They are a goldmine.Steve Pavlina also ran some forums at dexterity for game developers. This forum transmuted into the indiegamer.com forums. This happened a little while ago when he decided to move away from shareware games and tackle a different aspect of life.
This is also when he started writing a blog. He talks about personal development, time management, planning and other useful things. Just like his articles, his blog is a goldmine. I would highly advise all of you to check it out. It's very useful information and it's written well. He has been added to the Friends of Sillytech box as well as my RSS reader.
