Public labyrinth in NDG

It opens in April, yo! Who's down?

Ok, having seen pictures of the actual thing, it's way lamer than I thought. I was hoping for at least walls, if not underground. And where's the minotaur!?

There used to be a giant labyrinthe in Old Monteal (behind what used to be the flea market) called SOS Labyrinthe (Chris, another wikipedia entry?). It was really fun. I went three or four times. I think it lasted from about 93 to 98 or so...

They had 8 ft stakes laid out in a grid inside this giant warehouse. The maze was then set up with large canvas sheets as walls. This setup allowed easy reconfig so that the maze could change a couple times a summer. There were watery sections and misty sections, several wooden climbing thingys/forts. You'd be given a card with 5 symbols and you had to find the 5 stamps in the maze that matched the symbols.

Or you could go play Lazer Quest... I can't believe that's still open. hmmmm.... mcgill improv lazer quest sounds fun...

Holy shit. Those pictures depict the worst labyrinth I've ever seen! Vinnie, I think the one in the Old Port still exists. I see it every summer and have never found people to go with. I'm up for it this summer.

It's still there?? I looked online for it, maybe it changed its name. I'm up for it.

I would be up for both (cool) labyrinthing and (awesome) lazer tagging. Aw man, I haven't done that shit in years.

I'm totally down with either one - sign me up.

1) They have one of those lame labyrinths in High Park in Toronto, too. I find it's still fun to go along and giggle/stare/throw things at the people who are trying to find inner peace (unless they reach for their inner piece! HEY-OH!)

2) I also like mazes and lazers. Please include me. I want to feel loved.

Yeah, I will also jump on the bandwagon for lazer quest or good mazing. Somebody get it together and I'm in.

There's also a decently cool labyrinth on Center Island in Toronto (or there used to be). It had giant hedge walls, and I remember it being cool (but I was small).

They have a lame labyrinth here in George Square too, I think. Or maybe it's a crop circle. Teuchters.

I'm back in Montreal in May so if you labyrinth, I'm in. Lazer tag scares me though. Yes labyrinth is a verb.

I'm only replying because I've discovered a wireless zone in my room. IN MY ROOM!!

Well, really all Lazer Quest type things are in maze type things. Its just that type of thing.
It would be TOTAL CHAOS is everyone were just in a big open field. Unless we all dug trenches.

ooooh! Maze trenches!...with lazers!...let's throw in a few paintballs while we are at it...best game ever!
