iTunes 5 Today a bunch of new music stuff was released by Apple. They brought out a new smaller iPod Nano, a branded cellphone, and version 5 of iTunes. There's been a lot of (rightful) flack being delivered to Apple for changing the look of their applications so often and not sticking to the standard Human Interface Guidelines. Since OSX started they have gone through pinstripes, aqua, brushed metal, newfangled Mail.app interface, and now to iTunes 5 with a new burnt aqua look.

4 comments The nano looks great. I much prefer flashmem to hard drives. Once I can get one of these for <125$ I'll probably pick one up. Might be a few years but my trusty 128MB iRiver will get me through...
Yeah, I agree. The iPod nano looks really cool. Although I also thought the iPod mini looked super cool, and they have totally replaced it with the nano (in less colors!)
I always thought that the idea of a mini-hard drive was the worst deal. It essentially holds significantly less memory for a unproportional drop in price. For instance, the mini held 15 fewer GB for about $100 less. Thats not so ideal. The best thing about the nano is that its Flashmem! Thus the increased price is worthwhile because flashmem doesn't scratch like a hard drive does. And its lighter, smaller, and lower energy consumption. Its small and worthwhile, but unfortunately I already own a stupid real iPod. Stupid.
