It's funny: growing up in Hudson, we used to say "See you there", as in "[I will] see you there". Like, if we told someone about an upcoming event and said "see you there", that implied that we would also be there. I only found out the true meaning of "see you there" (i.e., "If you go to such-and-such a place, that will be the only place I will need to avoid in order not to run into you") through dating.    → comment by chrisdye (#15) on October 7, 2006
