Firefox 3 is out in Beta and I decided to give it a run on my Macbook. Camino goes into CPU overdrive at random moments. Safari becomes unresponsive once per day.
I've only had it for a short while but already it's my favourite. Firefox 2 was not much better than the other two but this is a clear step in the right direction. Hopefully no deal-killer shows up (it's still in Beta though so I'll cut it some slack).
The interface is a lot nicer, the URL completion is smarter, and the layout is clean with the important stuff one touch away. Colour me impressed.
FireFox likes to suggest all kinds of weird completions when I fill out some forms. Through a bit of searching I found this great tip on Lifehacker for how to clean up the list of completions that FireFox will suggest:
Just start to type in into the form field until the grey dropdown appears, then use the cursor keys to move to the entry to be deleted and press the SHIFT key and the delete key. Voila!
Got 1-2 tickets to Arcade Fire on Wednesday and can't go. Anyone got tickets to Tuesday or Thursday and want to swap? 2 tickets, great, or 1 ticket if you know Maryam.
I use Mozilla Firefox because it is the best. However, since yesterday I have been unable to open a browser, double-clicking or through the start menu. The little hourglass shows up on my cursor but nothing else happens. I am currently using IE, but I really don't want to be stuck with it forever.
I also have two papers due tomorrow, so I don't have time to research this myself.
