 14 comments | | Everyone's favorite generic english name: Smith? or non-english: Nguyen?

 | Alex nailed the #2 (Smith, 189th overall) and #3 (Nguyen, 211th) spots. (Nguyen was also my guess.)
 Johnson is 554th overall. Most of them have been premier of Quebec.

 | Blackburn is my guess.
 Remember that Heritage Minute where the Irish kids were adopted by French families. And wherever Catholics get together, last names tend to get passed down.

 | The girl in the Heritage minute is called Molly Johnson... I guess she didn't keep her name or pass it to her kids. | | |

 | Well if Nguyen was up there perhaps it's another oriental name. Like Wong? Or Lee?
 Or perhaps it's Walsh?
 |  |  |

 | Lee = 507th Wong = 653rd
 Walsh = 1100th

 A man with this name played for the Montreal Canadiens.

 | Richard? I guess I don't really think of Richard as an english name in quebec... where's blake on the list?
 There's a sizeable vietnamese population in quebec, whereas the chinese population has better representation on the Wes' Si-eede. Bryan, any numbers on the other provinces? Where are you getting this info from?

 | The answer is Harvey. In Quebec, that's pronounced Harvé... and I wouldn't be terribly surprised if more francophones had this last name than anglophones given chrisdye's explanation above.
 See the top 1000 here and other stats too.

 Thanks for playing, suckas!

 | Oops.. I mean it's pronounced Arvé. |  |  |
