Blogue: let your body move to the music hey hey hey Bonjour,
Could any of you recommend a blogue providing service that could serve as the campaign blogue for the Bloc québécois de l'Ontario during the next campaign? The only requirement is that several different users should be able to post on the same blogue (like Sillytech, but without having a computer science student develop it from scratch.) Alternatively, it would serve as a community blogue for everyone who uses the services of DeMaisonneuve.com.
Thanking you in advance, Yours in democracy,
Yvon Tripper

I thought about the various possible solutions but in the end decided that the easiest answer would be to use BLOGGER (blogger.com). Blogger is owned by Google and is exquisitely easy to use. If you choose 'advanced blog setup' (which is still easy), you can host the blog at DeMaisonneuve.com or whatever, which means it wouldn't have to have a crappy 'bloc.blogspot.com' address. I think you could also play with the look of the blog if you wanted, although Blogger's preset designs are lovely.
You could use a livejournal community, where lots of lj accounts can poston it. However, lj doesn't look as bloggy as most blogs.
There's typepad, but that costs money (and more if you want multiple authors).
I don't know if blogger can support multiple posters, but if it does it's probably exactly what you want.
Then there are software packages like wordpress (wordpress.org) and sillytech that you could install on your server and use. You have to watch for security problems and spammers though.
You could just use sillytech if you want. Or it would be pretty easy to setup another site using the sillytech code and change the design to be what you want.
Blogger does indeed support multiple posters. That would be my recommendation, too.
