Don't worry, there's a formula: Women with Tea

Check out the actual webcomics on the site too.

Yeah I should have posted with my own version but I had nothing. Until now.

I posted this one under the creative pseudonym of "Frankie". I don't want the "Women With Tea" readership to think I'm hogging the site.

You boys write like such boys! Irony is one thing, and the tea drinking crowd is another, but if there were two "regular" male charaters, would the jokes be gender based/biased? Humo(u)r is interesting.

It's true! Chicks dig robots!

Which reminds of a 1000 blank white cards card I once made.

Boy Humour
All cards that mention or depict sharks, pirates, bears, robots or ninjas are worth +100 pts.

I hate how boys think they have a monopoly on pirates and ninjas. I mean, have you ever seen the cover of a romance novel? Pirate-tastic!
comment by alice on August 17, 2005

Ha! So you admit we have a monopoly on sharks, bears and robots?
   comment by vinny9 (#33) on August 17, 2005

Sharks and bears I'm willing to concede on, but robots, no way. I mean, the number of times I was a cardboard robot for halloween? Come on! I even named my first doll 3PX2 because I'd just seen Star Wars, and the droides were my favoritest parts.

Ok, final breakdown:
Boys - Bears, Sharks
Gender Neutral - Robots, Pirates, Ninjas, Subway Maps
Girls - Cosmo, Beijing, Droids

Robots! (=link)

Actually, sociological studies of humour have revealed that the 'punchline' format inherent in these kinds of comic strip (ie. back and forth verbal sparring) appeals far more to men than to women; and thus, men create this kind of humour far more than women. So in a sense, it would be impossible to write one of these not like a boy.

Please excuse my boring interlude. Alice knows what I'm talking about.

What about the Care Bears?

What about the Care Bears?

A well-known source of cutting-edge comedy!
