Office X-Men
This is a little idea I came up with after working in a dilbert like office for a couple of years and seeing the X-Men movie for the first time 2 weeks ago. I thought of it after I had encountered one of the "office x-men" and I thought...really..how can somebody be like that! Then I realized...that personality flaw was not a flaw at all...but a super power! Not sure if this idea had been thought up yet but I thought I would submit it anyways....There really is no script...but Characters for an Office X-Men Skit. The only part of a plot I have so far is the office X-Men are out to destroy management.
You might find some of the these characters in your own office.
BO: This X-man has the ability to knock anyone down with his terrible body odor. BO walks around in a worn out button down shirt with no undershirt on underneath. Because the shirt is so worn out you can see his skin underneath and the HUGE yellow sweat stains around his armpit area.
Chatterbox: This X-man talks to people, and talks to people and talks. Chatterbox is the person in your office who seems to think you want to know all about how they strung their Christmas lights this year in excruciating detail. But what the victim doesn’t know is when this X-men is telling you about their family vacation they are actually sucking your life force! (Ever feel that way around those people…)
Synergy: This X-man is what we call “management”! Instead of ever giving you helpful advice, they feel the need to throw buzz words at you. These buzz words are just there to cloud your mind so you become unable to make good decisions and you think management is heaven sent…
Copier: This X-man is constantly making copies. Copies of EVERYTHING. Look, someone wrote a note on a piece of napkin…let me copy that and send it to everyone. When copier is in full force you will be encountered with flying paper going a mile a minute. If copier doesn’t suffocated you in his mounds of papers, he’ll get you with PAPER CUTS! Copier is an ally of Synergy.
Spit: This X-man is a cousin of chatterbox. When spit talks, you have to be careful to not get hit with his salivation. The spit that comes out of his mouth is like a blob that will cover and restrict the movement of whatever it touches.
