Another success!

Hiyo!
For those of you who missed it, the Summit was really really fun. Thanks to everybody who helped out and made this thing happen. An especial thanks to our McGill team who rocked da house!

Also, i have a shit load of pictures from the event. I would like them to be posted somewhere so everyone can see them. Any suggestions on how i could do that?

Who won? How did Princeton perform? I want details!

And yeah, check out flickr for photo posting.

UQAM won, after an edge-of-your-seat tie breaker with McGill. Princeton were pretty good at improv, but were kind of anti-social-- didn't come to the after party, and spent most of the show sitting at the back of the room looking sullen. Carleton were quite funny, I thought, but were cruelly over-looked by the audience.

Also, Amazon sucks.

Where was the afterparty? Glad it went well!

Congratulations to everyone involved. There seems to be a pretty good McGill-Carleton-UQAM triangle - are there any plans for any of them to host similar events? That'd be a pretty sweet university improv circuit developing.

Also, One Metre Beer rules.

I found both Carleton and Princeton had kind of a young sense of humour. Carleton had listening problems and one guy (who was actually named a star) did a lot of talking and controlling scenes. Princeton had a lot of strong players who managed not to overpower each other with their character choices and ideas. However, they lost favour with me when they did a terrible manipulation scene with UQAM, though (they weren't helping the guesser at all, they were throwing clues about all three things at once, and using lots of really obscure references) and also for not socializing.

My favourite scene was UQAM's piss-myself funny song about a girl named Alaska who was very cold and unreceptive, so in contrast the singers were hugely emotional. They started banging on the heaters at one point and I couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the scene.

Carleton is going to perform at Vaganza. I guess we could ask UQAM too. They said that McGill should join the league next year, but I'm not sure how well we can do in French.

One Metre Beer would have won, but he got 6 penalties for breaking reality/laughing onstage. I think he was drunk...

I totally don't remember an onstage kiss! Who? When? Oh god was it me?!

Yes, Mariana, you totally made out with One Metre Beer onstage.
