I don't understand. Is the ACLU trying to tell us that there is a massive right- and/or left-wing pizza-based conspiracy to control the waistlines of average American hardware store owners?

Also, if they've got their knickers in such a twist about privacy, can someone please explain this from their website:

"If you are a U.S. resident, we may also from time to time combine your Personal Data with some publicly available data collected from third parties, to improve our services to you and for our own internal marketing, communications, and fundraising purposes...

We may also share the Personal Data of members and donors who are U.S. residents with other non-profit organizations and publications...

Allowing the ACLU to exchange your name helps us to grow our membership and better protect civil liberties."
