Talent (And the lack there of)

So I work with this girl who says that the judges at American Idol (At tryouts going on now) were purposely picking up the bad singers because of publicity. Now I don't watch the show but that sounds to me like American I-dull.

Reply to comment 2: "Please make my child a Britney Spears Or Christina Aguilerrra, Or at the very least a Jessica Simpson or something, He will never make it in the real world due to his lack of talent. Please don't let him end up in the real world it is a far greater curse to be untallented in the real world, but it does not seem to matter in 'Show Biz'. Once you're a star it doesn't matter if you're talented or not. My son will never get any job without some kind of skill. But in Show Biz it don't matter if you have any talent or anything. Please Save him. I was thinking him and Madonna Go down in Kisstory together his carrer is in a slum, I mean Slump.

I just watched some Jessica Simpson thing on TV. I also saw her on Saturday Night Live, and while I may have something to say aboput people suceeding only cause their work is socially relevent, At least she's funnier than ChrisDye. And Britney and Christina if your out there, I may talk some but if you sent me singles of 'Genie in a bottle', 'Fighter', 'Hit me baby one more time', and 'Toxic' I wouldn't throw them away.

Yo

What's with the random dissing? You're hardly in a position to start teasing people about their sense of humour, even tongue-in-cheek.

If you're gonna spam the forums looking for attention, go ahead, but at least have the decency to not get personal.

You're right maybe I shouldn't put artistic appreciation before patriotism and should be praising Miss Simpson, Instead of pouting about how someone who achieved what I considered excelence in the Skit writing area, has seemed to have backed off. I should just accept it like you and not ask for more. But its kinda like having ice cream once and then being told there will be no more. Yeah it was that good, I laughed out loud at his stuff, I appologize if I assumed that he was still kinda new to this and should keep kicking butt, and figuring he wasn't writingly aged enough to use the excuse that he's all washed up, And try to make him aware of the fact. Maybe I should try to put my personal feeling and relationship before professionalism in the realm of comedy writing. That's good advice.

You didn't complain when I dissed Christina. That's still professional, but the other one, that was outa hand. You're right.
