Star Wars action figure differences

Much beefier, and no pants for girls. Such are the differences between the 1979 Star Wars action figures and those of today. Take a look.

It seems our society has regressed, men must be bigger and stronger and women must be more feminine. Even the non-humans are bulging out of their molds. Alas, poor society.

Perhaps its not a regression but merely a shift. In '79 slim was in and the toys seem to reflect that, but now everyone there's a new style for men and women to conform to.

And a lot of them seem to be simply more aggressively stanced--elbows out, legs spread. Al la Zuckuss and C3PO. But yeah, some of them are just fucked. Like Vader. Damn.

I think Lando's obvious use of steroids really plays into societies negative stereotypes of african american atheletes and space men. Next thing you know they will be 'pimpin' Cloud City, and including an 'illegitimate child had with gullible space groupie' doll along with the Lando action figure. Someone should really tell Al Sharpton before this gets out of hand.

Also Lando is paler, Vader has gorilla arms, and Han Solo looks like a Disney hunk.

I also notice that Lando no longer has a friendly grin on his face... Did they take away the pull string that makes him ask for watermelon, too?
