Lux is a 2005 Independent Games Festival finalist!!!!

The Independent Games Festival just announced the finalists for their 2005 competition, and Lux is one of them! As you can probably guess, this is quite awesome.

It cost $100 US to enter, and I was hoping to get a little bit of publicity out of it. I honestly was not expecting anything more. So I was very pleasantly surprised.

The official rules state that "Festival Management reserve the right to disqualify any Finalist that fails to attend the Conference and/or demonstrate its Festival Selection during viewing hours at the Expo." So it looks like I have a date to be in San Francisco for March 7. I guess that could fit into my schedule without too much trouble. It certainly defines the amount of time I will spend in Europe.

The IGF competition is being done as part of the Game Developers Conference. I hope this means that I get a free pass or something.

That's awesome! Congratulations!

March 7th, eh? I guess that's an acceptable limit. My mom's supposed to come visit in March anyway.

Give me a "D," a "U," an "S" and a "T". Okay, then give me an "I" and "N"!
