Normally, people only catch these things quite a while after the fact but this one happened right in a spot that was under surveillance for another project. With so many eyes on the sky these days, I suppose it was inevitable but it's still great news.
Tonight there will be a total lunar eclipse. Hope for clear skies!
The moon will be completely "hidden" around 10pm EST / 7pm PST. Partial shadows of the Earth will be noticeable about ninety minutes on either side of the peak time. Check it out outside your window.
